I'm not talking about financial incentives (yuck). I'm talking about
reputation.

That doesn't matter for my point. There have been tons of people
complaining about LFS and /nobody/ seems to do anything about it in a
reasonable timeframe; I've seen lots of issues that could be solved by a
few hours of hard work (rm -rf /usr/{,pkg/}games if you can't do that).

We don't seem to have any goal but to push release after release and cash
in on the success using our ego's. The Plan 69(TM) isn't there.

Personally, I'm literally working to the point of starvation for a while
just to be able to spend a good amount of time on UNIX development in the
future. The defense ``I'm not getting anything for the Campaign for
Advanced Systems Hardware'' does /not/ apply to quality control.

When things get tight, don't just hold on and see where the ride will take
you. /Act/, even if it means making sacrifices.
