I ordered the dual-port card from a large US online retailer in early
early November 2005.  Every two weeks"ve been told "wait another
week". Then the retailer called me last week, saying they now have no
ETA from Intel at all, and strongly suggesting the order be cancelled.

I've waited so long I'm willing to keep waiting, but that doesn't help
anyone who has the chip (only on-motherboard chips so far?) with
driver support.

True, but after looking again, I wonder how much those small diffs
depend on earlier changes, for which NetBSD may not yet have equivalents.
