Given: * NetBSD 1.6.2 with (default) XFree86 4.3.0
* /etc/X11/XF86Config: has enabled `dga' subsection in `extmod' section
* XFree86 driver is `vesa' on my ATi Radeon card
* VMware installed as follows: 0. vmware-netbsd-3.2xx (i dont remember
exactly ) was taken, compiled and installed with extracted tarball from
VMware.com with VMware 3.2.0 distribution; serial was registered
What's happen: 0.  i start VMware and it starts normaly and runs fine;
VMware configuration includes only : /dev/rcd0a as CDROM, virtual disk
as IDE master
1. when i start it and make it boot from /dev/rcd0a which contains
installation CD for the guest OS (it's QNX)
VMware boots from that CD and shows me installation program which runs
in text mode console
*BUT* when guest OS wants to go into graphical mode it is seems to me
that VMware work correct and let OS do it;
i see some activity on IDE but do *NOT* see anything on my screen.
That's the problem. Any suggestions are welcomed.
