As everyone (reading this thread) knows, there are a stack of compile type
options for this (sys/ddb/files.ddb). My play machine/s have DDB and
DDB_ONPANIC=0 so I can do stuff locally and try things remotely (doesn't
always work - disk sync'ing problems maybe?). And option stuff (compile
stuff) comes in before /etc/rc - i.e. the /etc/sysctl.conf and other
parsed stuff - obviously. And is great, as long as it's documented.
