I forgot to add: with the new code its also possible to use `dd' to write a 
DVD*R.... (yes some ppl. use `dd' for creating CD-Rs :-/). The old code 
would break-off at 800 Mb since it would reject the zero length returned by 
the read recorded capacity and return the dummy 800 Mb. The new code will 
correctly specify the correct size.
