Indeed.  When I wrote that code, I had a machine that had Win2k  
installed on one partition of the "Promise host RAID" (i.e. software  
RAID that the BIOS can also do for booting, etc.), and I wanted to  
preserve that (dual boot NetBSD and Win2k).
