Thanks - that helped!
Just tried a kernel with that change. Now we are getting the DMA
data correctly.
(actually, it is a 1.5.4_ALPHA kernel)

Appearently not. I can't test easily on 2.0 because this needs some
driver porting, but code inspection and CVS logs don't show any sign
that this is fixed.
