What's the point (on i386/amd64)?

For these adapters VGA console works, X works (with the VESA driver), and
there even is a graphical console driver using VESA, IIRC.

Wsfb is needed on archs where these techniques do not work, I don't think
it's worth "unify" these (radically different access methods) under the wsfb
name - it makes the driver uneccesary complex.
