I've been experiencing periodic kernel panics on my Dual Athlon MP
box. Until now, I thought it was a hardware problem. But over the
weekend I replaced the motherboard, CPUs and memory, yet the panics
continue every other day or so.

The system uses a Tyan 2466N-4M Motherboard, 2 2800+ CPU's, an intel
dual gig ethernet card, and a Mylex 352 RAID. The kernel config is
GENERIC.MP + DIAGNOSTIC + GATEWAY. I've appended the dmesg at the
end of this message.

One of the panics is:

    panic: kernel diagnostic assertion "pg == NULL || pg->uobject == uobj"
           failed: file "../../../../misfs/genfs/genfs_vnops.c", line 1134
    Stopped in pid 16.1 (ioflush) at netbsd:cpu_Debugger+04: leave

With a backtrace of:
    cpu_Debugger()
    panic()
    __main()
    genfs_putpaghes()
    VOP_PUTPAGES()
    ffs_full_fsync()
    ffs_fsync()
    VOP_FSYNC()
    ffs_sync()
    sync_fsync()
    VOP_FSYNC()
    sched_synch()

The other panic is within the i386 pmap code in pmap_remove_ptes()
with a "pmap_remove_ptes: unmanaged page marked PG_PVLIST, va = ...".
Unfortunately I don't have a current backtrace for that case. I do
recall that it's starts when the process calls the exit() syscall.

Is there any information that I should be sure to capture the next
time it panics?

Many thanks,

    --jtc
