Ah! Okay, I think I see your point, and I agree.
I note that it looks as though config(8) already has the necessary
support - and indeed the scsi attribute already has a locator
("channel"), though it does seem to me that that one really belongs on
the (comparatively few) multi-bus HBAs rather than on the scsi
attribute....
