Hello All, 
I'm the originator of the thread - Configuring X
inside NetBSD 1.6.1. I have a NVidia GEForce MX 440(64
MB DDR). 

Only yesterday, I managed to install XFree86 4.3.0 (
mine was 4.2.1 - shipped with NetBSD 1.6.1). 4.3.0
supports NVidia's GEForce 4 series, like a breeze. I
now have twm up and running on my machine. 

Going ahead with dnlding KDE now.
