Windows (2000) has improved and does not crash as often as it was renowned 
for. they do have some deap-seated problems, but its actually possible to 
use windows like a unix box (either as a server or desktop that requires 
no switching off). no comments on fsck() except that 10 minutes sounds a 
bit too long.
