Hmm!  I don't feel _that_ adventurous, I must be honest.  I have
just survived shoehorning the new Adaptec 7xxx driver into 1.6 and
I'm not sure I'm ready yet for another kernel update.

Mind you, if I can fetch a version of -current that will compile
(I have a (nearly) current -current, but last time I tried to
compile a kernel I failed in the most indescribable fashion :-(
I'd be happy to try.  Or some instructions that won't require rocket
science to follow :-)
