As a user of SCO emulation, I would find it preferable to restrict the
entire system to SCO-compatible PIDs when emulation is configured.  We
use SCO emulation in a production environment and uncertainty would be
hard to cope with.

I assume that others are also likely to dedicate a host to emulation
if it happens to be restrictive in some fashion.
