The kernel GENERIC file lists version 1.300.2.29, dated
2002/05/03, though it does come up 1.6-STABLE when compiled. =20
However, my previous file was 1.491.4.2, dated 2002/08/01. What
version of the kernel am I actually installing with this?=20
