On a related note I've recently re-created all the i386 INSTALL kernels
from a cleaned up INSTALL, adnd I've even tested most of them (though
only one manages a full install with 'pax' as the extractor due to
restricted root filesystem space and some bug with getting 'pax' to
accept TMPDIR as the place to put stuff).

I could send-pr them, I guess, but will anyone do anything with them?
