I think it's still quite a way to go until we can dump
the existing console drivers.
The new wscons stuff (cgd's) is doing its job on alphas and
PCs, but it doesn't emulate multiple terminals at the moment,
and there is no support for ancient graphics boards.
I'm not doing much work on it; Juergen Hannken-Illjes is
implementing a keyboard mapping framework on its base.
I hope we can work out the conflicts with existing code
step by step and then put it into the tree so that whoever
feels like that can work on a piece of the puzzle.
