That reminds me...

I once wanted to be able to boot both NetBSD and FreeBSD on the same box,
using the same root filesystem.  Booting the NetBSD kernel with FreeBSD
userland was OK, but then I wanted to run NetBSD's init and sh when I
booted NetBSD's kernel, and FreeBSD's init and sh when I booted FreeBSD's
kernel.

It struck me that it would be nice if I could put some NetBSD stuff under
/emul/netbsd/ and have The Right Thing happen.
