This is historical, from when there were two distinct drivers.

I agree with Perry; the option letters should really be added to the
front.  Then the naming would be consistent with tape devices.  I
suggest:

nlpt0	No prime
llpt0	CR -> CRLF
nllpt0	Both

We might want to find a better letter than 'l' to denote the CR ->
CRLF translation option; 'llpt0' doesn't scan very well.  Perhaps 'd'
(for DOS)? :-)
