Hello all,

I wanted to install from FTP on my machine, but I noticed the mtd driver
is missing from the (i386) installation floppies kernel.
A quick grep for the driver in sys/arch/i386/conf/INSTALL showed there was =
no
line for it, not even one which is commented out(!).

It's in GENERIC only, not in any other kernel config file at all.

Is there a reason for this, or is it just an omission?

Please CC me in any replies, as I'm not subscribed to the tech* lists.

Regards,
Peter
