Just for the record, while NetBSD doesn't use CHS for its own use on LBA disks,
it is neccessary to know the BIOS CHS geometry on LBA disks during system
install in order to generate a correct mbr partition table entry on PCs.

(And I know that that is a totally different thing from what you were
talking about).

Just a try to make things a bit more clear, as someone might get confused
in this other discussion going on...
