Would anyone else find a way for sysinst to look for a tar file that
contains "local" changes, and unpack that tarball last, on new machine
installation?

This would allow for the stock install system to make fully usable,
bootable machines without post-install mucking.

I fake this currently by adding changes to the last thing extracted,
but that is wrong.
