Of course, the perfect solution would be to have GENERIC work in all the cases 
with an autoprobe .
There are pretty many small devices like WRAP around. 
I tested the patch on a board with keyboard controller too,  on a via860 board 
and it worked (just like on Soekris and Wrap boards).
Who can I bug to do some more testing?
