It depends. A lot of PPC hardware support info can be
found on the macppc port page:

NetBSD support includes G3 and G4.

Not yet. Progress is being made on SMP NetBSD, but
I believe Intel, Alpha, and Sparc will be the first
to run well. A recent announcement showed some 
stats running code on a second processor, but it's 
still early in development.

What's the app, and what hardware (beyond the CPU)
are you going to use?
