Pull up following revision(s) (requested by pgoyette in ticket #525):
        sys/kern/subr_interrupt.c: revision 1.4
- don't return ENOMEM for errors not related to memory
- don't overload return values (-error/+size)
- don't allocate kernel memory from user supplied length.
