Log Message:
Change synaptics 'unusual delay' printf to aprint_debug. I'm tired of
seeing it over and over again.

Isn't this a symptom of a real problem? That message seems to be
correlated with incidents when the entire system becomes unresponsive
for periods of about 30 seconds at a time. (By "unresponsive", I mean
mothing seems to work, and even the X display manager's on-screen clock
stops ticking.)

30 seconds pauses? I haven't seen those, more like half a second...
