Not with NetBSD's group semantics - files always have the directory's group. My recollection of the earlier discussions - a lot of it is on some PR somewhere - is that the outcome was that it wasn't needed, and wouldn't be added. i thought that it was actually useful in the case of NFS and "too many groups". .mrg.
