I propose the following rewording to fit the (apparent) reality:

"NetBSD-current is a daily snapshot of the NetBSD development source
tree. Because nobody is following the commit guidelines, it may contain
code that doesn't compile, is untested, and not reviewed by anyone. In
addition, it may contain changes to subsystems by developers unfamiliar
with them, usually to silence automated code scanning tools that were
not configured appropriately. Unless someone notices quickly enough, the
stuff in NetBSD-current might end up in a release used in production.
Any reporting of the above problems will trigger an automated reply
indicating that This Is A Volunteer Project."
