BTW, is it still worth to have uvm_pageidlezero()? Which port uses it?

I think it's probably a safe bet that no one uses it, and that it's probably worth removing. It's completely antithetical to power management, for example.

On sparc it's ( or used to be - didn't check in a while ) enabled by default, I had to hack around it when putting the sparcbook's CPU to sleep in the idle loop.
