I guess (and know for Qemu) that they run GENERIC just fine,
and we don't add config files for every 'real' machine out there (think adding DELL_XXX).

What's the idea here?

There's a VIRTUALPC config too (for years now).
I don't see any problem with adding configs for machines that are currently being used by developers and users of NetBSD as long as we don't build them in release.
