Run?  _IIRC_, FreeBSD's catman set just includes the preformatted manual
pages.  You don't need to run anything; just unpack that set and the
preformatted manual pages will be ready for use.

This could be the same here.  You'd generate a new set after a complete
build, and decide whether install it later on or not.
