Log Message:
* Add MKPRIVATELIB; if not "no", act as "MKPROFILE=no MKPIC=no MKLINT=no"
  and don't install the (.a) library.
  This is useful for "build only" helper libraries.
* Add some  #{  [...]  #}  comments around large conditional statements.
