Me, and shortly.
Having looked further into the hp300 boot the current state of
affairs is hopeless.

AFAICT the 'stand' tree won't cross-build because it build and runs
a mkboot program.  The code in mkboot should be in installboot.

Also, since the bootstrap is >8k, there has to be a 'BOOT' partition.
(although maybe a liffs - only joking....)
