build.sh needs *some* default; you can't build for both endiannesses at
once. However, a builder can explicitly choose the endianness (and on some
platforms, the bitsize) by supplying both "-m" and "-a" to build.sh; that's
why "-a" is there.
Typically, whatever the vendor supplies its sample tools and so forth as a
default is usually a good default for the port. Or whatever has more NetBSD
availability -- here, little-endian probably represents that.
