      Default elf32 for vax to have a NetBSD OSABI.  Allow for Linux/VAX to get
      an Linux OSABI.
   
   
   please don't set OSABI to OSABI_NETBSD unless you have a very good
   reason for doing so.  (it doesn't *mean* what it's name implies.)


you don't appear to have backed this change out?


is there any particular reason you want it?  i had a look and you
changed the linux elf32-vax to set OSABI_LINUX.  do they want this?
i really wouldn't think so.  *we* don't want to set OSABI_NETBSD.
it basically means "this is not ELF.  don't think you understand it"
and has nothing really to do with the operating system.
