It's not clear to me that in the absence of either a consensus or a
ruling, we should be actively changing any of these. Rather, we should
decide which of __progname or a hardcoded string, and then we can decide
which we need to change. If there are a large number that need
changing, then we can do it by lazy evaluation as per the
un-__P()-ification.
So, what are the arguments either way?
