It cannot be made optional, and the point that the binary pkg is removed
before a rebuild is tried(!) is on purpose: if the build fails, you'd end
up with a wrong binary package else. I've had many problems until i
realized that. :)

Mind you, this is for bulk builds, not for your precious private pkg
treasure chest. If a package is broken, no binary pkg deserves to exist.
