I don't think removing -compact is a great idea. Stylistically,
I think compact should be used for any list that is
primary composed of one-line items. It makes the manpage far
shorter and easier to read.

In this case, a couple of items edge over 1 line by a word or two, but
since it is -offset indent, it is quite readable and unambiguous. Without
your change it fits on a single 48line screen. With it, it does not.
