Um...  I don't want to be contrary, but:

$ pkg_info -I tcl-postgresql
tcl-postgresql-7.0  Tcl interface to PostgreSQL
$ pgtclsh 
% exit
$ tclsh8.0 
% load libpgtcl.so
% pg_connect
pg_connect: database name missing
pg_connect databaseName [-host hostName] [-port portNumber] [-tty pgtty]
pg_connect -conninfo conninfoString
% 

Anyway, I'm not saying the above fix is wrong, but the previous tcl
_does_ work, on i386/ELF, at least for linking against and for loading
shared objects into...
