The person who is fixing mysql asked me to commit this change, to
make it easier to work out which diffs need to be applied. The
double invocation of patch(1) was just getting in the way. Indeed,
the double invocation was only meant as a temporary measure until
the majority of fuzz was removed from the tree. That time has come.
I haven't the faintest idea why you want it retained.
