I'm very much for this change, but I think people have come to expect
some other services to be on on a newly installed machine (ntalkd,
fingerd come immediately to mind).  Given that, I suspect we should
document this in the `Compatibility Issues with previous releases'
section of src/distrb/notes/main, and perhaps word the man pages for
ntalkd, etc. to remind people that they need to have turned these
services on...
