        Thanks - I tried that but didn't clue into needing to add the
        ".include <bsd.own.mk>" line - I tried adding it after the
        ".include <bsd.prog.mk>". 

        Fortunately Matthias is much more on the ball than I and was able
        to fix it up - many thanks Matthias
