It is?

I can see MAYBE doing the following:

        - Make pax-as-tar _WARN_ about long-option usage.  Leave this
          for one release.

        - After that time peroid, garbage-collect the long options.

If I had my preference, pax-as-tar wouldn't have long options at all.
