The log message should have read:

Use isprint() instead of hardcoded c<' '. This way, as soon as isprint() and
friends are localized, talk will be able to communicate in (e.g.) ISO-8859-1.
Patch by Matthias Scheler (PR bin/2874).

(This has been fixed in the source repository.)
