So my stinkpad is starting to really stink.  It's basically busted, and I no
longer have confidence in it being a reliable unit.

So I'm thinking about upgrading.

Anybody have any recommendations for a laptop with a high res screen?  I'm
looking for something over 1400x1050 - preferably 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 or
such - something with more screen realestate than my apartment.

The only ones I've seen out there are Dell (IDK about Dell - anybody have
any comments on their quality?) and Voodoos.

Any other ideas?
