The process to take film (24 frame/sec) to NTSC video (60 field/sec) is
called telecine.  The do some repeating of film frames in what's called a
3:2 cadence to produce 60 fields/sec for NTSC video.  Inverse telecine is
the removal of this cadence to reconstruct the original 24 fps film stream.
It makes a difference on large screens.
