I tried, but nvmm will not run on this system.  'modload nvmm' fails:

  NVMM: proc-based-ctls requirements not satisfied
  autoconfiguration error: nvmm: cpu not supported
  WARNING: module error: modcmd(CMD_INIT) failed for `nvmm', error 86

As for Linux, this system is too important to me to mess with that much.
I may later be able to do something like that, after I have moved the
logical system and then the hardware is just hardware (awaiting
recycling probably).
