The real error was above the first line you provided.  Redirect
stdout and stderr to a file while building so you can look
further up the execution chain to see what happened.

Additional useful information to aid in debugging:

    1)	tag being used in pkgsrc (HEAD?, pkgsrc-2016Q1?  pkgsrc-2015Q4?)

    2)	NetBSD installation architecture (uname -m)?
