cgdconfig hangs on domU startup

This seems to be xen specific:

dom0 is 5.99.49/amd64, domU is running 5.1.

Altough I didn't test with Xen 3 on this machine, I don't see this on a
5.99.39/amd64 dom0 running Xen 3.3.2 (but so much has changed since then).

Anyone else sees the same behavior?
