Okay, great. I'll have to build a system with that patch and try it again. (I
see it's too late for 5.1, but I don't mind using a modified source tree.)

Well, at the moment we use Solaris 10 exclusively. I know Xen is supported
in OpenSolaris (which is now dead...), but I haven't heard anything from Oracle
about when it will appear in a production release of Solaris, or if they'll
kill it off entirely.

Our current plan is to move nearly everything off Solaris to another platform,
which is why I'm looking at virtualisation -- it would host most of the
services we currently run under Solaris Cluster.

Originally the plan was for the "other platform" to be FreeBSD, using VMware or
similar for the VM host, but I think I would prefer Xen if we can make it work.

I think this only solves some of the problem -- we still need something to
manage failover of the VMs.

Thanks,
River.
